There are a performative aspect and a guardedness, and that’s just death. I don’t know how to live like that, and I don’t know how to give a life to my child like that.”

The actress who has been out of the scene for a while confesses created better boundaries for herself and her daughter Matilda, from her late husband Heath Ledger.
