A new promo for season 5 of Nashville confirms Hayden Panettiere’s return to the TV. The country drama, which will premiere on its new network, CMT, this January. As told by Deadline.
In the breathtaking teaser, Panettiere’s character Juliette says, “We tape ourselves together so that no one can see our flawed hearts,” while some footage from last season is portrayed showing her breaking down and crying.

Another character in the promo adds: “We all break — that’s what makes us human.”

This teaser signals Panettiere’s come back to the industry after she sought treatment at a rehab facility due to postpartum depression after the birth of her daughter, Kaya, in December 2014.
It was reported, Nashville was canceled by ABC this past May after four seasons, but CMT picked it up for a fifth season in June. Hulu has also partnered with CMT on the series, so after the episodes air on TV, they’ll be available to stream online. The finale had fans wondering if Juliette was dead after her plane went off the radar.
