Netflix’s Stranger Things have new intriguing characters for the second season of the 80’s nostalgia sensation!
Sadie Sink will play Max (MADMAX?), a tough and confident girl whose appearance, behavior and pursuits seem more typical of boys than of girls in this era. She has a complicated history and is generally suspicious of those around her.

Dacre Montgomery will play Billy, Max’s hyper-confident and edgy older step-brother. He steals girlfriends from their boyfriends, is great at drinking games and drives a black Camaro. But lurking under his apparent charisma is a violent and unpredictable nature.

We will also see as regular of the series two Season 1 favorites: Noah Schnapp, who plays Will Byers, the missing boy who was captured by the Demogorgon, trapped in the Upside Down, and Joe Keery, who really made an impression as a preppy boy (and boyfriend of Nancy) Steve Harrington.

Our source, The Hollywood Reporter, spoke with executive producer Shawn Levy: “There’s definitely a handful of really compelling new characters this season, but [the show is] absolutely servicing the core group first and foremost.”

Stranger Things will return to Netflix for Season 2 in 2017.
