Her name is Rheegan, a 10-year-old from Auckland, New Zealand. She’s suffering from severe autism, who is on the run with her family given the unfortunate circumstances they live, their home is in indigent shape, so they relocated to a temporary home while they take care of those problems, with brings some other substantial financial burdens to her parents.
This story, like much other bad news, move quickly thru town, but luckily got to Lorde‘s ears, a fellow New Zealander.
Rheegan’s family set up a crowdfunding page to help with the economical burden, been homeless and with a special care child is not easy AT ALL!
That’s when Lorde took action! “Sending best wishes and love to you and your parents, Rhee”, she said on the comment box, attached, a $10,000.00 donation, which sent under her real name Ella Yelich-O’Connor.
The crowdfunding description reads: “They must shift the family out of their house for at least four months when it is being reclad to the tune of $260,000”.
Due to health conditions, Richard Barry (Rheegan’s father) has recently lost his job , propelled them much closer to their goal.

“I know her music but I’m completely stunned to know how she found it and what a freakishly small world it is,” Busch told New Zealand Herald. “There’s no personal connection so I’m very humbled that she would think of us.”
Earlier this year, Lorde also donated $20,000 to a children’s charity in New Zealand through the same crowdfunding site, WHAT AN AWESOME PERSON!
