Well, this 17-year-old is about to have another viral moment, cause CoverGirl has announced that James is its first male CoverGirl spokesmodel. Fellow CoverGirl spokesmodel Katy Perry broke the news early Tuesday morning. “Honored to have the pleasure to announce the very first COVERBOY, James Charles!” she wrote on Instagram.

James will start out as the face/lashes of the brand’s latest mascara launch “So Lashy!,” but will also be fully integrated into ads, commercials, etc. He couldn’t be more excited about the news!
