The concierge, Mr. Abdulrahman, who was allegedly at the premises of the hotel where there infamous Kim K‘s robbery took place, spoke about the apartment building not having any real security in place.
As reported by the Daily Mail, this gentleman warned the company more than six years ago about these security problems, hotel guests been vulnerable to any crime.
‘One day, someone might be killed. That is more important than a robbery of rocks and metal.’, said the concierge in the interview.
Given of the apparent nature of this hotel, everything was made on purpose so that the type of clients that they have (celebrities, wealthy, business moguls) could have 100% privacy, AKA, not been seen with who they were going in or out, that’s why the name: “No Address“… Rather shady if you ask me.
They do have a camera in the main entrance, just inside the big red door we see in the picture, but according to the concierge: “… it didn’t work for years.” And, to top it all, two weeks after the heist, the hotel have not changed the access code for the main door… raising a lot of questions, indeed.
Mr. Abdulrahman added:
“Immediately afterwards, I was very angry, and the first one I blamed was the hotel, they are responsible, I think. And I still blame them now. I told them: look what you did! What I told you for six years? Security cameras and other things are meant for days like today, to prevent these things from happening. If you have good guards, electronic systems to lock the doors, it can be possible to secure the hotel.”
