The Amazonian Warrior woman was chosen by the United Nations to represent the empowerment of women. Just a few short months after the initial launch, they’re calling it quits this Fri-yay. The reasoning: She’s a pin-up girl.
The 75-year-old character is believed to be overtly sexualized by critics of the campaign. Not everyone agreed with sacking Wonder Woman, taking to twitter with their discord. They argued that focusing on her attire is part of the problem with objectifying women and not the solution.
