I know, I know you wake up a few minutes late and you feel like there’s no time to do anything- not even time to choose what to wear. You are sleepy, in a hurry and a little stressed due to all the things you mus accomplish during the day.

Let’s don’t the benefits of starting your day with a healthy meal can be ignored. It is well known by scientific studies that eating breakfast prepares you for your day and drives you to a better performance- both physical and mentally. The good news is that you can have your sleep and eat a good breakfast with this fast ideas:

1. Yogurt

If you can spring for Greek yogurt, even better, but in general, yogurt packs a ton of protein, and you can even blend it into a smoothie or add to it some fruit and granola.

2. Avocado Toast

It’s easy and very nutritious.  Jus slice an avocado on whole-wheat toast. Not only do you get the healthy fatty acids that come with the avocado, you also get the great fiber content that comes with whole-wheat bread.

3. Fast Green Smoothie

The good thing about preparing this is that it’s good to go as soon as is ready and can be consumed while commuting. The recipe can combine leafy greens with a bit of fruit and peanut butter, as well as almond milk.

4. Almond Butter On Whole-Grain Toast

If you’re pressed for time, Rieger recommends a bit of almond butter on whole-grain toast. The almond butter is a great source of vitamin E and the whole-grain toast will jump-start your daily fiber intake. Preferably add your fruit intake too- banana and strawberries work perfectly.

5. Cereal 

Cereal is basically a breakfast food group all on its own. If you don’t have time to prep a breakfast the night before or cook something up in the morning, it can be a lifesaver. Pluss add fruits, almond milk and a type cereal full of fiber.

6. Granola Bar 

This is a one time per week exception when you are really in a hurry- but as they say a little it’s better than nothing. Pick one that carries as many nutrients and protein as possible.
