One simple solution for your workday: Take short breaks and in those follow a series of steps that will allow you to relax and do your best.

I know, I know, it may sound pointless, but as simple as it reads, taking ONLY  3 minutes throughout the day for this steps can improve your performance, focus, and peace of mind.

Step 1: Sit down straight and rest your back on your chair

Step 2: Place your hands facing down into your lap

Step 3: Once you feel comfortable in the position, close your eyes and spot with areas of your body feel more stressed.

Step 4: Keep your eyes closed and in the same position! Inhale through the nose and exhale through your mouth slowly- repeat 5 times.

Step 5: Once you finish the breathing, feel your body for a few second and slowly transition to your job activities.

Besides having a calming effect, these little steps can actually make you better at your job. Studies have shown taking a moment can improve your focus when you return to work.
