THE SIMPSONS, “Bart to the Future” episode, which aired more than 16 years ago, on March 19, 2000, will go down in history as one of the most bizarre predictions in the show’s history. The episode features LISA SIMPSON taking over as president after the TRUMP administration leaves the country in tatters.

Post-election, all everyone could talk about was how the Simpsons predicted the results of the elections better than any of the polls. They even had us requesting lottery numbers. It appears they chose the most ridiculous result and ran with it.

They’re clearly not happy! The clip shows Bart writing “Being right sucks” on the chalkboard over and over. With U.S. facing uncertainty and a country divided, we’re glad the famed cartoonists still have a sense of humor.
