Regardless regularly denying rumors and gossips of a possible Third Sex and the City movie over the years, Sarah Jessica Parker has finally presented the show lovers a small giveaway of hope. As told by The Huffington Post.
During an interview with Jane Pauley on CBS last Sunday, the actress confessed that even though there is not an actual project to complete the Sex And The City movie trilogy, the idea isn’t completely out of the picture.
“I will say that the idea, it rests in the butler’s pantry,” she claimed. “It’s not on the table, but somebody is holding it fairly nearby.”

Let’s not forget that last May, the actress assured there were “no plans” for a third film, yet that didn’t stop fans from losing faith. At the end of the day, “fairly nearby” is a little better than a hard “no,” and when driven to imagine what a third film might look like, it’s clear the actress is still emotionally close to the characters of Carrie, Samantha, Miranda, and Charlotte.
“One can’t help but picture a Golden Girls kind of version of Sex and the City,” Pauley confessed to her during the interview. “Now you’re looking back on your lives. If you’re inclined to be looking back on your lives at all, or are you still looking forward?”

“I would have sort of imagined that those women have only interest in looking ahead, while being informed by the past,” the actress countered. “And in a way, maybe that would be the best for all of us — living people, nonfictional as well!”
That was a real live representation of the iconic character the actress performs- Carrie Bradshaw– and it gave a major life wisdom.
